I have always been fascinated by electronics and engineering: technology in general. From a young age I would disassemble anything I could get my hands on just to see its inner workings and to this day I apply the same fervor towards any project I manage, ensuring to address every minor detail.
My interest in computer sciences emerged while studying graphic design and web page administration in high school. Through the use of online resources I learned to build web pages using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS: even venturing into languages such as PHP and PERL. It was at this time I learned to build computers from the ground up and my zeal for information technology became embedded.
During my college years I developed an enthusiasm for constructing databases and automated systems using Microsoft Office alongside scripts and macros. Since becoming comfortable with VBScript and VBA my programming interests have expanded to include C, Python, Lua and Android development. In addition to working with computers, I enjoy developing software for mobile phones and gaming consoles such as the Sony PSP.
For nearly twenty years I have been an avid computer user and over the past decade I have focused on software engineering and system administration. I have refined my ability to develop and test hardware and software systems while working with high-profile fuel distribution and logistics companies.
I like to spend my free time researching many fields of interest: art, history, photography and videography, cooking, astronomy, electronics (voiding warranties), robotics, rc and scale modelling, woodworking, metalworking and metallurgy, origami and papercraft, travelling, hiking, geology and prospecting, rock and gem collecting and a few other things that I’ve probably forgotten.
